Logic must work alongside Passion; neither has more say than the other, but both have merit, Logic controlling the conscious thought of man, with Passion controlling the subconscious, but neither controlling all.

how in the world have I come to know you in a day?

I think my lips have tasted your skin before,
your hands have been here.

post midnight, mid morning
I know nothing, lover, but I see the way
your eyes plead when you’re too afraid to speak.

BIRDY ON PASSIONFRUIT:

The idea behind our third issue is to present this purpose of passion and let us ponder on what it means to each and every one of us specifically. How does it play into the art we create or the everyday choices we make? How is it apparent when choosing who we love or don’t love? Who or what makes us passionate? All submissions, while loosely based off of the theme in general, are still passion-driven submissions. Sunstroke is about youth passion and art. And in this issue, we aim to emphasize this idea.
