Aarush is a 16-year-old high school student from New Jersey. An avid consumer of movies and books alike, they enjoy dissecting media through various critical lenses and approaching texts from different perspectives (often feminist or Marxist, or a combination of the two). When he's not writing, Aarush can be found watching horror movies (his favorite franchise is Scream, which they know is very basic), hiking with his dog, listening to SZA or stressing over an upcoming exam. He hopes to study sociology in college, with an emphasis on applying computational methods to pressing social problems.
