Emma is an artist based in Brooklyn. She was born in Venezuela, and lived in Romania and the Czech Republic before moving to New York to study Illustration at Pratt Institute where she recently graduated. Her work is often inspired by nature, animals, and her childhood. Emma enjoys learning new crafts and ways of making, from drawing and illustrating, to working with ceramics, metal, printmaking and more. Her work, across all media, tries to create an atmosphere, tell a story, or capture something human that everyone can relate to. Outside of the visual arts, she has an interest in music, writing and collecting cool things like special rocks.
