Kellie Yukiko Toyama is a mixed Okinawan-Chinese poet and culture writer from Oahu, Hawaii. She is currently based in Los Angeles. finishing up her BFA in English with focuses in Gender and Asian-Pacific American Studies. Her analytical and artistic work prioritizes the concept of decolonization and explores media through a queer, Asian lens. Kellie is always looking for music, films and TV shows that ultimately serve to uplift the communities she belongs to. She finds her spirit nourished in supporting indie artists, drinking jasmine tea and watching GL animes.
