While pursuing a Bachelor of Health Sciences with a minor in psychology from McMaster University, Miranda cultivated a strong aspiration towards researching health equity. Her current research interests include arts-based psychotherapies, health disparities in marginalized communities and culturally-informed healthcare services. She aims to take an intersectional, equity-informed lens to drive her pursuits in healthcare research.

Miranda draws inspiration from seeing her generation carve out their own space and question the systems that have been upheld. She hopes to continue to connect and learn from a multitude and variety of different people. Outside of an academic setting, she enjoys horror movies and dancing.
